It seems as every year passes the old-skool style SHMUPS (SHOOTEMUPS) are dying a slow death. You know our favorite non-fps games. Games such as R-type, U.N. Squadron, Einhander, etc. Anyway I brought up this thread to revive the side-scrolling shooters we all love! List what are your favorite shoot em ups, here are mine:

1. Einhander
2. U.N. Squadron
3. Chromium B.S.U.
4. R-type
5. Aero Fighters
