So are the 2500's better than the 2600's. The 2500's have the 512K cache, then its back down to 256K for the 2600's & 2700's???

I was looking more at them, but I'm trying to decided between the 2500 @ $94 or the 2600 @ $98

Which is a better buy? Thanks

I was wondering the same thing myself - I think the 2600's perform better out of the box - but the 2500's are better Oc'ers

...I'm kind of leaning towards the 2500 at the moment

Personally I would go with the 2500 because it is easier to OC. It runs cooler then the 2600 because of its lower clock speed but its able to compete because of the cache. I've heard you can get it to 3200 easily but ofcourse that depends on the chip itself.

I can't fault my XP2600+ @ 2.26GHz (faster than the paper released XP2800+ T'bred) but I havn't tried yet to see how far it'll go (waitin' for a 8RDA3+ so I can jump this sucker straight to a 200MHz FSB).
