Thread: AMD 3000+ System any good?

    I have a XP3000 and it overclocks better than any 2500 barton I've seen, but it is your money. I would really stay away from the via chipsets and stick with the Nforce2 chipsets. A good mobo with the nforce 2 chipset is either the Abit NF7-S rev.2.0 or Asus A7N8X rev.2.0. You will be happy with either one.

    That is NOT a good deal, because of one big reason. That system will cost 800$ USD to build from scratch in 4 months.

    And SAMMY, if you don't know what RAID is, you DO NOT WANT IT.

    RAID for personal use is a thing of the past. NOTHING to gain by it except problems galore.
