    Building my first rig... I've Jack up this old sony all I can stand.
    Going to use Abit 1c7-g Mo Bo.................... Is it worth price diff
    and what else is the diff between P4 3.0 and P4 3.2 ?(besides 0.2 )

    Neither....the multiplier is high and will limit its overclocking capabilities.

    Get a 2.4c for $170 and put it at 3.0 or 3.2 and it will always beat the higher end CPUs because at the same clock speed, its FSB is cranked through the roof giving it crazy memory bandwidth and performance boosts. At 3.0ghz the 2.4 has a 1000mhz system bus.

    So basically, 3.0 800fsb vs 3.0 1000fsb.....I think you can tell the winner there :hammer:.

    All it requires is a good board and very fast RAM to pull it off. The best boards are ASUS, followed by Abit, with the best RAM for the job being OCZ 3700 or 4000.
