    Go into BIOS and check.

Also make sure you run XP + SP1, not Windows 2k, as it doesn't have the features to take advantage of hyper threading.

if you read I already said I checked the bois and I really don't think that windows XP will allow you to install a windows 2000 service pack on to it not that it's hard to make a mistake like that + windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and 2003 all do not need anything to take the adavntage of the hyper threading I did check out intels site which really tells me nothing

all's I want is a least 2 other system tester programs that tell me it is reallly enabled and not like soft sandra that says diffrenent I don't want to find 6months later I got a really crap MoBo that dose not really support it as then I can't take it back then can I

Hit ctrl+alt+del......simple....look at the pic below.

And what I said was not bs....Windows 2000 and prior does not have near the level of HT support that XP does. Any smart Intel HT user will use Windows XP.

XP is the only OS with proper support for HT cpu's.

There are a few people that isn't aware of this though.

Exactly, but 2k will still show dual CPUs. Anything before that and i'm not sure it will show up.

If your BIOS says Hyperthreading Technology : Enabled, then its on, it's gonna be up to your OS to take advantage of it.
