I read something on the overclockers.com site about Intel being in another 1.13 situation. Can anyone elaborate for me?

I have no idea what this 1.13 thing is, do you have a link?

The 1.13 situation they are referring to is back in the golden days when AMD and Intel were racing for speed. Intel came out with a 1.13GHz processor that was in essence a factory overclocked 1GHz model and it was unable to maintain any real stability so was recalled.

    saburrito,
I am not aware of any situations similar to what you refer to. As Soulburner requested, a link or an idea where you heard of this would be helpful.

In that case that isn't true, there are no current Intel processors that had that problem as they are all able to run much higher than their standard clock speed and thus don't have stability problems.
