    I've seen this while browsing. The guy actually got hold of a prescott CPU and he's showing his score here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...eadid=17180481

    Tell what you think about this CPU.

    They have been available at newegg for a week now at least.

    Honestly, right now the current Northwoods out are clocking extremely well and I would have to recommend one of those instead because they seem to be hitting the same speeds as the Prescott.

    However, when the new stepping of Prescott is released in its 775 socket it should be improved beyond the NW.

    Prescotts are a big waste of money, you can get better performacnce out of a Northwood than you can a Prescott..
