Just want to see some opinions here.

    I am a gamer. I had...still have at the moment a Athlon XP 2000+ with 1 gig of DDR400 (x2 512 Dual Channelling) and a Radeon 9600 VC.

I finally bought my Athlon XP 3200+. What kind of a difference in performance am I going to see with the faster 3200 and the faster 400mhz FSB compared to the 2000 and the 266 FSB?

    Thanks for the opinions,
    Mike

You will notice that your games will run quicker and smoother.

Along with a ton of other programs. The 3200 should be quite a bit faster.

Well, I have my 3200. I am fairly pleased with the results of the faster chip, dual channelling DDR400 and the 400 FSB.

However, I thought I would see more out of it than what I am currently seeing. I guess I will just have to live with what I have. I am happy, but not thrilled.
