    A pci gfx card goes in the pci slot closest to the cpu(on an atx mobo).

    Also for anyone planning to change mobo and psu just to get an agp slot, if you are going to run a low end agp card like a r9200se or a fx5200, then you are wasting your money and should just get the pci version of the above cards as the performance of them is similar to their agp counterparts.

    I have the same dell and video card. I did try different ports for the video and they all work about the same. That stupid problem with the bios trying to reinstall the onboard video is anoying and I can't seem to fix it either. I have the same thing going on with my sound card.
