    Thanks for your reply.

    Which is better?

    AMD Virtulisation;

    Or Intel Virtualisation;

    ???

    Is AMD better, worse or same?

    Thanks in advance for any ideas,

    Panarchy

    PS: Intel's documentation wasn't as good :|

    No idea. I'd still go with the Phenom, but that's just me. You might not want to if you know the Q6600 will suit your needs find. For the sake of 50, it might not be worth it if the Phenom turns out not to be what you're looking for...
    Current system:
    - Intel Q8200 Processor (2.33GHz) (7x multi, roughly 340MHz FSB)
    - Intel DG45ID Motherboard (stupid locked BIOS >:( )
    - 6 GB DDR2 RAM (667MHz)
    - PNY GeForce 9500GT (750MHz Core clock, 1900MHz Shader clock, 500MHz Memory clock)
    -585GB SATA HDD (7200RPM)

    Well for some reason AMD motherboards have on board Graphics... so if I can just have some benchmark on Virtualisation between AMD and Intel, I can decide!

    Thanks in advance,

    I would go for 600W, personally. Get an OCZ StealthXStream, they're quite cheap (less than $80 I believe) for 600W.

    Or, use a Power Supply calculator which you can find here.

    Is it true that the new batch of Q6600's dont OC so well anymore?
    Would it be better to get Q6700 if you wanna OC?

    I've heard that about the new 6600s, so yeah, if you want an Intel quad and you want to OC, then it'd be best to find a new model.

    I don't know anything about the Q6700, or the Q9550... but it does look pretty expensive (230)... I'd go for the Q6700, or a Phenom!
