    Hey, I have been running my e5200 and board at 3.6ghz and nearly same settings for a while now and everything works fine accept for Prime, Sooo annoying. I rebuilt my little brothers system yesterday and on his e5500 he can hit 3.75ghz on 100% stock settings using Kingston ddr3 pc8500 ram, on an MSI board. His PC doesn't even flutter and can run prime on both cores without stopping.

    On my Gigabyte UD3P I always get the rounding error and one core will crap out in less than 20 seconds, and the other keeps going.

    Why would just one core crap out and the other can run forever?

    Anyone have ideas about this?

    Mind posting your full settings for us to have a look at, template is in my signature for you to do so.

    Also please include your BIOS version, and memory model or a link to it.

    Might just be a setting off is all, have you tried plenty of tinkering already? Tried adjusting MCH Ref? If not that may be it, check the link in my signature for how to properly adjust this
