    Here ya go!

AMD Phenom and Third Generation Opteron identification

    HDZ955FBGIBOX
    HDZ955FBGMBOX

    H - Phenom
    D - Desktop
    Z955 - Phenom II X4 955, 3.2 GHz, quad-core, unlocked clock multiplier
    FB - 125 Watt, Socket AM3
    GI - Stepping C2 or GM - Stepping C3
BOX - Boxed processor with fan/heatsink

So... the GM is what you should go for.

Hard to say. Only $46 separates the cheapest to most expensive Phenom II X4. If you want to overclock, the 955 is the cheapest AM3 Black Edition. Worth $20 to me, but maybe not to others. Conversely, it's not worth $20 to me to get another 200MHz.

You mean 20 more for the 965?

Correct. Some people might think "it's only another $20 to get the 965". Not me. You can constantly do the "it's only $20 more" thing until you're broke.
