AMD reports that the board is not supported for the simple fact that it can't read the internal diode. ;)

For a living I'm officially "Retired Medically Unfit" but I still build, upgrade and fix PC's plus I'm a bit of a webaholic. :D
Also I receive the email notifications from other sites on news, reviews, releases and articles for the TT news (sorry I havn't posted any since the missus has been out of action but once she's back on her feet I'll make up for that). ;)

go to amdmb.com and there links to some new reviews that have been posted about hte 2700 and 2800. They are going to be pretty expensive also! Around $350USD, at least that is what amdmb.com's review said! ;)

AMD what a Wank 1st October

Good on ya AMD just lost another client
l am going to upgrade, l dont pay top dollar
    for the latest CPU's.
l like most wait until you can purchase a cpu
a couple of releases old, proven product, you
know exactly what you are getting, at a reasonable price.

At AMD what do l get a 2100+ or 2200+ that is 4 or 5 generations old, this is all l can buy from you old stuff, and nothing to compare it with, 24000,2600,2700 & 2800+.
    With the p4 you have 2. 2.2 2.26 2.4 2.53 2.6 ........................
This is twice you have stuffed up. l think this will put the Company
    in deep sh!t.

My Xmas present will a p4 2.53 or better, it was going to be amd

AMD l do hope you survive

For those still faithful to AMD
Heres some good news that they may not need a new motherboard to get these 333FSB CPUs
