    It depends on case temp, Cooling used etc, what V you are running.
    Get worried if your seeing say 50-55C 100% load using the stock cooler. If thats happening, do something about it, otherwise it wont matter :D

    Straight from the horse's mouth;
    http://www.intel.com/support/process...m4/thermal.htm

    The throttling on the P4 occurs around 75° C.
    So as long as you stay below that you should have no problems whatsoever.
    Just keep your heatsink and fans clean, and a good airflow, you should be fine.

    I have a friend who has swapped quite a few mobo's under his P4 and just like AMD ones there are some huge differences in temps reported by mobo's from different manufacturers which is part of the reason why I tell ppl not to worry about their temps too much until ya hit 60C. ;)

    The other reason is that this temp is what those badly ventilated low profile NAME brand PC's can run at and they usually don't have any probs (though only just). :devil:

    My P4 (see my sig for the config) runs in the low to mid 30's C w/an Alpha PAL8492 & 50cfms

    I've never bothered to check what it get's up to during extended periods of full load - mostly because I know the temps won't be a problem w/that cooler & because it's the AMD rig that's my toy - the p4 is for the wife and kids (most of the time).....it get's some real good Reader Rabbit framerates :D
