    Every bit extra that ya can get out of the FSB will reduce w/u times as SETI is CPU/memory intensive so the more speed between the two the quicker the program can work.

    Ya, 1.833mhz is damned slow :) Might be time to upgrade to a 10mhz processor (286 comes to mind :D)
