    "Intel vs. AMD - The Road Ahead" talks about FSB and belives on increasing performance by FSB. FSB can't deliver much difference in performance, I think. Also if it can how Athlon XP by about half FSB bandwidth of Pentium4 can deliver clearly much performance compare to Pentium 4.

    In addition, less bandwidth save money on making processors, memory and mainboards. AMD doesn't need for more bandwidth, I think.

    Of course FSB can deliver performance, it is the driving force between behind what increases memory bandwidth.
