I need this sucker real bad. You can hear mine two blocks down and I think the neighbours are starting to get anoyed. This could be my big chance to restore peace in the hood.

I have an X2 3800 still using a stock cooler in a Sonata, and I can hear it. Even the third place Xigmatek would help restore my cred.

I feel that keeping the stock cooler on my i7 920 for much longer is being disrespectful to it. It would be nice to have one of these coolers to finally let loose the reigns and achieve more than 3.4 GhZ in Australian summer heat. Also, because my case window faces toward me, I am constantly reminded of the shame that my CPU goes through hidden under that stock cooler, it secretly wishes for something much more impressive to show itself off.

    I'm game for this.

My bang/buck budget build is coming along nicely. I have most of the parts picked out except for the heatsink. As it stands right now I am looking at the Scythe Mugen 2 because it gives a good performance but minimum cash.

Thor's Hammer is out of reach if I want to keep the build under $600 so if I were to win this I could put more money into the CPU, especially since I plan on seeing exactly what the i3's are capable of on air.

Big "fan" of the Xigmatek coolers and chassis. I'd love to sit this in my yet to be completed HTPC...hopefully silence will be golden

I had a cooler that didnt attach well onto the motherboards due to bad design (very bad feets to lock it), so if I moved the pc or such, the cooler would get deattached more or less and CPU would overheat instantly.. had to to the intel stock cooler, that I am using now...
So yea, I need a new cooler, thats better than the junk I've got now :p

I;d love to find the maximum overclocking limits of my core I5 on asrock P55 extreme :).

Always run into heat issues with the stupid stock cooler =.=/
