    Seems like an espionage tool deployed by the West. Developed by professionals and hackers, with access to all the inside information on networking equipment and computer hardware.

    Why "companies" should be concerned depends upon what that company is doing. Unless Regin is being used to get CC info so CIA employees can buy things, the "companies" should be worried only if they are hiding things from the Feds and the IRS. That is, if that is what Regin is looking for.

    High technology can often be defeated by low tech means. Such as, removing the network cable(s) and removing wireless devices. Information that is not on a network can't be accessed via a network.
