Default RunCore SSD for Core i7 Desktop ..... ?

    Hi

Can any of the RunCore SSD drives be installed and run in a Core i7 Desktop PC running Vista x64 SP2 ?

If so, do they require any sort of special formatting / fdisking software etc.... ?

    Thanks,
    Ben

i think runcore ssd could support nearly all of the OS platform.
and maybe nothing specially, just format in disk management.

Hi Ben, You betcha and it's real snappy too. Please see below my benchmarks for a runcore iv 64g installed on a
    GA-EX58-UD4P , i7 920 @4ghz with Windows 7 x64:

Most of my benchmarks are inline with what's expected on an ICH10R controller, some are slower, however I think this is due to the fact that this was the OS drive.

    Best.

PS only caveat about EX58-UD4P is that it takes forever to post (35sec).
