Default Problem with 32GB Sata Mini-PCie SSD

    Hi ya'll
I have a problem with my runcor ssd im my eeepc 901GO.
The SSD worked fine for about a year now. A couple of weeks ago the ssd could not be found on startup and in bios any more. I tried a bios update as recommended in other forums - still not working. The only change after bios update is, that I get the message:

    'Missing operation system.
Rebood and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press any key'

I have put in the original ssd from asus and that one worked fine (but so slow). The usb jacks on the ssd are still working fine, which means that I can view all the files stored on the ssd.

I tried to contact runcore support on the support-form and via an email address I got from a runcore distribution partner (rma@runcore.com), but no reply since over a week.

    Any suggestions anyone?

Firstly, make sure whether it is fine via USB and can be found in BIOS via miniPCIe interface. Secondly, restore the operation system. Try~

First of all thank you for you quick reply.
If I start up with the asus ssd in the device and the runcore ssd via usb cable it shows:
    HDD:SM-ASUS-PHISON SSD
    USB:RunCore 32G-C SSD

So my interpretation is, that the SSD is not broken but somehow the mini-PCI-e connection on the card is. ???

I tried to restore the OS many times with many different OS (Ubuntu, WinXP, Win7) and I also tried to clone the SSD from the original one, without change, the SSD cannot be found on startup and in bios if built in.

Sounds to me like some small problem not allowing the drive to work in the PCI-e Slot. Some sore of connection issue is my guess.

Please contact the vendor you purchased it from and get a replacement.
