Default Upgrading the HDD of an LE1700

    Hello all,
Thanks for looking at my thread :) I have become the proud owner of a Motion Computing LE1700 and am aspiring to put a 128gB RunCore in it (http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/pro...-Z1816-Chr.jpg) as others on this thread have mentioned doing succesfully:

    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f78/runc...54/index2.html

However, after doing a little digging I have found confusion in the topic with mention of different models of le1700 being shipped out with different hdd connectors or something rather vague and to that effect.

Now with my laptop in my lap I am trying to figure out if I can make a runcore like above work for me, but I lack the experience, exposure, and excellence of this forum. So I come with pics and hopeful inquiry!

Am I stepping into a costly mistake by ordering the ssd? Will it definitely be able to be made to fit? I'm willing to work for it if needed.

Thank you all for your time!

I have some good news for you sir. The Runcore 1.8" zif drive from MDD will work great for you. We have had many customers upgrade the Motion computers as of late and they are extremely happy with the results.

Once you do the upgrade please post back here with your thoughts and some bench mark comparisons vs the HDD.

    Thank You,

    Matt Dawson CMO
