Default SSD Killed, now shows 0GB

I installed a Runcore pro IV 1.8" 32Gb Zif PATA SSD into my Archos 9, it went very well for the first couple of days but now I can't boot or even install Windows 7, it says 0Gb free out of 0Gb total...

What's the deal here ? defective SSD ? Do I have to return it to the shop ?

    Hello, jeffo
You can take the SSD out from your Archos 9, connect it to the another PC by external USB enclosure.
Check the current status of your SSD.
Whether it is intact, or can be formatted.

    Oh, it's undesirable.
You can contact with the reseller for a replacement.

I received my new one, it's basically the same Samsung D die with 8 pcs. The firmware version is 1571, can I update to 1896 ?
