Default MacBook Air Rev B help?

I purchased a runcore 128 lif ssd from mydigitaldiscount. The drive works fine when connected via usb ( I was able to mirror my hard drive). My macbook doesn't recognize the drive when installed in the computer. The original hard drive works fine. I was even able to boot the macbook from the SSD via the usb cable. Is this a faulty drive?

I think there was something wrong with the LIF SSD connected with LIF cable.
You can check it whether it was connected correctly and firmly.

Make sure you have formatted the SSD with the GUID Partition Table format with Disk Utility so that it is bootable in Mac OS X when installed internally. Sometimes the SSD comes formatted as Master Boot Record format.
