Default Acer Aspire one AOA110 SSD replacement issues

I ordered and recieved a runcore SSD RCP-i-Z5064-c 64G Zif ssd for my Acer aspire one netbook AOA110 from the local Australian Distributor. The drive works through the usb port, but will not detect in the bios. All cables included in the package and the original cable supplied with the netbook were used and work with the original drive, but not the replacement. This drive is listed as compatible with the Acer Aspire One. Any help appreciated.

    Regards

    David

Make sure you installed it properly and do not insert it backwards because the connector is one-sided only.
Forward this page to support@runcore.com and i will send you the installation guide.

    thanks

Have tried all that you have suggested. I have also used a zif to SATA adaptor to test the SSD. The original SSD detected in a test machine, the replacement runcore drive would not detect.

    Any help appreciated

Still no joy getting drive to work, it has never worked via Zif, but still works via USB. Would like to either get an RA# if drive is faulty as it is either drive is faulty or not compatible.
