Default Flash type 17 - what firmware to use?

    Hi all,

So I just got an RMA replacement PATA ZIF 64GB (RCP-IV-Z1864-C) and the P/N is 14176404 - if I understand correctly, code 2 here is "17" which isn't anywhere to be found on the fimrware types (Samsung M die, D die, Intel, Micron, etc.).

The Device Instance Path also does NOT include a firmware revision... how do I tell what f/w this drive is?
[edit] here is the device instance path as reported by win7:
    USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_RUNCORE&PROD__64G-C__SSD&REV_\141226415C22&0

    Thanks,

    -j

We have not published the new coding rule yet.
Yours is using Micron with FW version 1916. BTW it will not show the exact f/w number if you using the SSD by external usb enclosure.

Edit: Can you please provide your S/N? so I can confirm if the flash type is really Micron. Just in case the Business department got the wrong number.
