    Question Z1832-MCNV doesnt work

    Hello,

I bought a RunCore SSD last week.

    1.8" RCP-IV-Z1832-MCNV PATA ZIF
    PN: 4004002826

I wanted to use it on my ARCHOS9 but it doesn't start up with this SSD.
The desktop remains blank an the A9 doesn't even get to the BIOS.
I kept trying to start the A9 with the SSD again and again and nearby in one out of 30 to 40 trials the A9 startet/ the SSD got to run.
If the case occures that it really starts than BIOS recognizes the SSD and all runs correct until the reboot.

As I bought the SSD there was a case included. When I start the SSD in this case, it starts immediately and without any problems and everytime.

The 'old' HDD runs perfectly in the A9 so for I expect all cables work correct.

In the A9 Forum I read that the A9 an the SSD can work together without any problems.
Forum.ArchosFans.com - View topic - HDD replaced with SSD, benchmarked

I realized that the label of my new bouhgt SSD differs minimally to them that are mentioned at that forum.

    Now to my questions:

What ist the difference between Z1832-C and Z1832-MCNV?
Does the new SSD needs more power at the moment of the startup?

According to your manual upon your website I need a PN with 8 numbers to identify the correct firmware, but on my SSD there is a PN with 10 numbers.

I would be glad if you could help me.
