  • Fbs?

Hey all, I saw a video card in the store yesterday claiming 128 ddr for PCI. Now, the way my MB is set up, all I have are PCI slots, not a single AGP. I've noticed most Video Card manufacturors use AGP, so I asked a friend about how the company could do just a PCI one that was so good, and he said it had something to do with FBS speeds and such. My question is, is there any way to find out what my FBS is? I'm running an Intel processor on a '00 netvista. 1.1Ghz. I can't find any other information about my motherboard. Can someone please help me?

there is no need for more than one thread, the other has been deleted.

you can check your fsb by getting into your bios

The PCI bus is too slow for modern video cards which is why we switched to AGP allowing much higher transfer rates and faster graphics cards.
