I have an application that has a high write volume (make it unsuitable for SD/USB flash) and low power requirement. I could use a traditional SATA based SSD but I believe I can hit a lower power target using something much smaller.
The N3150-ITX has "1x Half-size Mini-PCI express slot" and the manual states it was meant to be used with a WiFI module. This probably means that the slot itself has no pass through to the onboard SATA controller which manages the 4 SATA ports.
My question is: Is anyone aware of a device which is electrically and physically compatible with this port that has both a storage controller and NAND storage?
