  • using appletalk to put an old mac online

i had a suggestion to post this on here from a nice person.

i have a old 575 mac os 8.1 computer with appletalk for internet connection communication.

and then i have a 633 celeron witch is running windows me. i would like to use the pc to get this mac online.

i was told i needed a appletalk ethernet bridge to connect the two computers.

i have looked all over the internet at a bunch of stores and none have any.

is there another way i can connect the mac?

i was thinking there might be a way to connect the two computers by a dailup connection.

the pc has a lucent win modem and a linksys homelink phoneline network card.

the mac has a dailup modem.

is there a way i can connect the two with these setups?

well thank you for your anwsers and help.

It can be done using a linux box as a netserver for a home network if thats what you had in mind?
