  • C2750D4I won't get passed initializing 55

Purchased E3C236D2I from New Egg last week and received an RMA this week and I am unable to boot into BIOS.

    Board#1 :
-Place all Rams in could not boot in I see initializing at 55
-Removed all power: CMOS battery and psu for 5min and place memory stick on farthest dimm slot -- BOOTED into BIOS
-Tested with other stick on the same slot-- BOOTED into BIOS
-Place 2 memory stick on the slot nearest CPU -- NO BIOS
-Placed single memory on closet slot near CPU - NO BIOS
-Upgraded the BIOS to newest -- I saw it stated a 'memory not installed'

---------RMA *thinks its a faulty ram slot*

    Board#2 :
-Follow same step as Board#1 but this time single ram any socket could not boot even after power cycle. I tried all combinations single stick each memory slot could not get pass initializing 55.
-Did not upgrade BIOS as I couldn't get into it.

    Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 SkyLake 3.7 GHz LGA 1151 Boxed Processor
    Memory = 2x Crucial 16GB DDR4-2133 PC4-17000 ECC UDIMM Server Memory ------ Manufacture # CT16G4WFD8213
    Motherboard: E3C236D2I

I am so clueless what is happening. Ideas?

    Thanks.

The C2750D4I motherboard takes DDR3 RAM, not DDR4 as you write.

Please consult ASRock Rack > C2750D4I for memory qualified by AsRockRack
