  • RAID on a new X370 Fatal1ty Gaming X with m.2 SSDs using a PCIe card.

I'm building a Ryzen machine and have the following items for my build X370 Fatal1ty Gaming X Promontory, Ryzen 1600, 512GB NVMe caqrd for the boot drive and 4 525GB Crucial M300 M.2 SSDs (B + M key). I also have a PCIe pass-through card that will house all 4 of the Crucial drives. My plan is to mount the drives, the UEFI will see them separately and I will be able to run software RAID 5 or 10 (or 6) with them. The add-on card will be in the second PCIe 3 slot; the first slot will have my 6GB 1060 graphics card. this should allow both slots to run as 3 x 8, correct? I would prefer RAID 5 or 6 but I just want to know if I can do this ....will it work? thanks in advance for any help
