hello,
My system is:
ASRock H97M Pro4 Intel H97
Intel Core i5 4690
16GB (4x4GB) Crucial DDR3-1600
120GB Samsung 840 Evo
550 Watt Corsair CS Gold
I was runnning a 390x before without any issues.
After my Vega 56 arrived I used DDU for driver removal and when the installer is about to install the AMD display driver and recognized the display my system crashed with BSOD in atikmdag.sys.
Searching around I found some posts in the AMD community forum and seem that the problem is related to the Motherboard UEFI, after updating BIOS to beta/latest version everything is working.
Is anyone having the same issue? There is a beta bios I can use to solve the problem?
Tested the GPU in another system with a recent asrock motherboard and everything is fine.
Thanks
MY current bios version is 2.10 (latest available on asrock website)
