  • ASRock A320M-DGS + Ryzen 5 2600 budget upgrade with older video card?

    Hi,

I'm considering a budget upgrade based around an ASRock A320M-DGS motherboard coupled to an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU. But the motherboard only has a single DVI-D port, while I need to be able to run two Dell 24" monitors. Can I continue to use my Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 video card? It's a PCIe X16 2.1 card. Will the onboard graphics be disabled in this case? Or can both even co-exist?

    Thanks,

    Colin

OK, the Ryzen CPU I'm looking at doesn't have a built-in GPU, so the on-board DVI-D port won't be useful for anything.

According to another forum, the card should work in theory at least.
