  • Getting SSD to boot

    Hi
I have an ASUS E402 S (UK version) with a 32GB eMMc as the boot drive. I have installed a 128GB SSD in the spare dive bay and cloned the eMMC to it using Macrium Reflect but I can find no way of getting the computer to boot from the SSD (Drive D:) in the AMI Bios or of re-allocating the drive letters so the SSD becomes the C: drive. There's prob a simple solution but I can't find it! Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Re: Getting SSD to boot

make sure that boot partition on new SSD is set to active, without it Windows refuse to boot from it, more info here: How to Set Active Partition on Windows - Info | Remo Software
