    i had a epox EP-8KTA3+ with two 40 gigs in raid running windows 2000 the motherboard went north for the summer this board i belive is no longer made if i get another board with the same raid controller will i be able to get it to run without losing it alot of stuff i would hate to lose
    any and all help wanted

    it shouldnt b a problem if u change boards. It's more than likely the case that u dont even need the same controller chip to have the raid function . Are u stripping or mirroring?

    Those boards are still bein' sold but the 8K5A+ should go in without probs. ;)

    How did ya ever kill the 8K3A+? :confused:

    i was moving and the heatsink fell off the cpu i really lost 2 boards in the move but replaced one already . i had takn both boards out of the cases cause of no room and put them together in a backpack so one copper heatsink took out 2 motherboard and one cpu and ii am stripping
