I replaced my Maxtor 7200rpm hdd with my old emachine hdd (2 yrs old) and im having problems. I reformatted my emachine hdd and it still gives me errors. when i try to download and play games. Errors Examples: waol.dll, kernel.dll, just to name a few. I also get error blue screens. these errors wont allow me to do anything!! What is cuasing these errors? Is it because the hdd is too slow for my 2.4ghz? Or what? (btw when i had my old hdd in my computer the bios mentioned “CMOS battery is low” could this be the reason?)

for cleaning up the Registry, I'd recommend RegCleaner, this version is free and can either clean automaticly or manually
