    Whenever I try to move files or copy files from One partition to another like Drive C: To Drive D: or vice versa(Note: 2 partitions in a Single Disk) The files where being copied very slooooooooow then eventually the computer will hang! Then I reset it, the Bios won't detect my drive unless you power off the computer and power on it again. Please Help me with this problem. Very Many thanks! My hard disk is a Seagate ST340015A 40 Gigabytes.

    go to Seagate's website and download Seatools. make a bootable floppy and check your drive with it.
