    I have this motherboard http://www.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard..._GA-8KNXP.htm#
and a pair of Maxtor 160 GB harddrives.
Do I just use standard ATA data cables and hook the harddrives up seperatly to the Raid controllers on the board? I'm assuming both drives should be set to master (Right)? Other than that is it just a matter of enabling Raid in the bios? I've never used Raid before and my board came OEM (No manual) so I could use some help here before the day comes to put the second drive in this machine and reformat for Raid.

    http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard...l_GA-8KNXP.htm - The manual.

EDIT: You just need the GigaRAID manual. There's a cool feature on that RAID that I've never seen before. JBOD RAID. 'Just a Bunch Of Disks'. Basically, you throw in any HDDs, no matter the size, and it creates one logical drive. Not any faster or secure, but it's cool anyways.
