    Default usb drive not recognized

I re-installed a fresh copy of xp and when I hook my 80gig Iomega USB drive up it doesn't get recognized in my computer. It goes through the "installing hardware" spiel and makes the noise and is recognized in the hardware as "Mass USB Storage Device" but when I try to access it, there's nothing there to access. Any reasons?

Ok, so apparently while I was using partition magic it unallocated the space on my usb drive for no reason. I checked under disk management and said that there was a drive, just didn't know what to do with the space. So know happily everything that was on there is gone. Oh well, I guess that's the price you pay...for not paying the price ;) I needed to format it to NTFS anyways since it came pre-formatted in FAT32.
