Default XP claims my HDD is full

Just plugged in and formatted a new 2 TB HDD and started transfering everything from my backup disc over to it (the whole backup disc contains 1,14 TB), then it suddenly stops after transfering 0,99 TB and tells me the disc is full.

Even though there is no more than 0,99 TB of data on it, it claims there is:
    Free Space: 71,9 MB
    Total Size: 1,81 TB

Does anyone know what's going on, and how i might fix it?

    Hi,

Could you Unhide (Show) Hidden Files and Folder, Unhide Protected Operating System files, and see which folder / file is taking more space on your 2 TB HDD.

Already done that, and all the hidden files together take no more than a few kilobytes.

    Everything is in order now.
Formated the drive once more and copied everything over without issues.
