Default Remove RAID 1 and keep OS

    Hey.
Is it possible to disable a RAID 1 array without reinstalling Windows or losing any data?
Disk nr 2 would be used for backup.
Running Win 7, RAID on ICH10R, Intel RST installed.

    Thanks

Default Re: Remove RAID 1 and keep OS

    Was too easy, obviously.
    1. Remove disks
    2. Boot into BIOS, set IDE-mode from RAID to IDE
    3. Connect disk 1, boot, uninstall RST

    4. Connect disk 2, boot with live CD and change drive letter, del partitions or format
    5. Reboot
