My problem is: The hard drive installed on my system cannot boot up. When I try to boot it, I get the following message:

Log on Process Initialization Failure

Interactive log on process initialization has failed.
Please consult the event log for more details.

OK

Every time I click OK the message goes away for a moment then returns. The same thing happens if I X off the box. I cannot get to the event log or anywhere else on the drive.
I have installed the old hard drive that the current one was cloned from. I can boot from the old drive. I now need to fix the boot up problem on the new hard drive. The old hard drive that I am using is nearing the end of life and does not have key data (a years worth) on it that I require from my current hard drive. How should I proceed? Below is a set of my system specs:

The specs for the hard drive that I am trying to boot are: WD Black 1TB WD1002FAEX (SATA) 64 MB Cache.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul
