And I thought that the Z-540's rocked but these Z-640's are totally awesome. :woot:

Went out and got myself a set of the Z-680s last night. All I can say is wow. Watched Fast and the Furious on the TV, sound pumping, was awesome. Only problem is I couldn't get the optical input to work from either my PS2 or my Audigy 2, and the SPDIF was only working in stereo, so I had to run the three cables to the back, but it was still good.

My sister was playing Diablo II on it when I got home from a friend's place, and the environmental effects were sounding really really good. She'd been hearing rain on the speakers and didn't realise it was actually raining outside as well. :)

    Definitely worth the investment. ;)

Yes i have been thinking of getting the similar system to my new gamer as well, they are about $350 us dollars here atm.

5.1 channels, 505 Watts & THX certified.. :lips:

I currently own the littlebrother set (Z-560) with 400 Watts and only 4.1 sound but it's a killer to.

I'll hope ya neighbours ain't *****ing to hard at ya though.. :devil win

There's a fair bit of clearance between our house and the next, so it doesn't sound too loud from the neighbour's house. Still waiting for the first complaint though.

Figured out the optical problem. The cable I was using had been cracked, so it wasn't working properly. Tried a new cable and worked great.

Going to 'borrow' one of the projectors from work one weekend and have a movie weekend on the big screen... Should be good.

    gotta love Logitech speakers :D

currently using the Z-340's (pic attached) myself and they are plenty of sound for me at the moment..all though I wouldn't mind an upgrade to Z-680's in the future, but that's just more $$ than I'm willing to invest in speakers right now
I've gone too far and need to move on!

No one seems to mind my Z-560's @ 0.75% thumpin' from the shop (which is amazin') but I'll soon find out what they think of my old Z-540's pumpin' outa the garden shed. :D
