A note about Battery life and using the mouse in really fine control.

Battery life for me has average around 24 days :-( of heavy use.
Another problem related to battery life is with applications like photoshop. If the powersaving function kicks in then the mouse will jump when you go to use it ... very annoying if you try to be precise !

In summary get the intellimouse with the cable .. it is cheaper, uses less batteries :-) and does not sleep (powesave) on the job.

A4 Tech make a cordless Optical mouse with rechargable batteries...when it runs out of batters it come with a cord that plugs into the USB socket on ya PC, and one end into the mouse, you can recharge it while you are away you you can still use it while it is charging :)
And you can also charge you Nokie mobile phone off the same cord :D
