I am looking at the Asus 9280TD, the ASUS V8420($145)

    OR the MSI Ti4200-VTD8X (MS-8894-060) GeForce 4 Titanium 4200 DDR/SDRAM 128MB 8X AGP Video-in TV-out Dual VGA CARD - RETAIL

I tried to link the URL, although it won't work. So if you just search Category-video card-then put in MSI or Asus with $100-150 min/max prices, these cards will come up. sorry

Can anyone recommend either one of these over the other or another better card for around the same price.
These both go for around $123.00(MSI)- $145.

The MSI is red and has a little extra freebies. Although the Asus is gold and will work will my color scheme, and has the same performance, as far as I know, if not better.

I am just looking for a viable option to go with for now. I can upgrade to the AIW later, and put this in one of my other systems when I do pick it up.

Thanks if anyone can give me some feedback, or another place to pick up one of these cards or a better one. I have heard some good things about EVGA, although they don't have one of these cards at newegg.

Thanks guys. This will finish it up for me......

    Chez

Well, I dont know a thing about the Asus, but I have that exact same MSI card (if not almost identical, mine might be a VD or something), but it's a really nice card. It's stock 250/512, and o/c'd it to 287/590 with no problem what so ever :D . However, my case cooling absolutely sucks (one CPU fan, one PSU fan), so I was forced to bring it back down for the summer, but if you have any kind of adequate cooling, you should be able to hit 300/590, or maybe even 310/600 if you have a really good cooling system. Anyways, cheers to that card, it's a great bargain. : peace2: Mista K6

    Thanks mista6.

I couldn't wait and already ordered the MSI earlier. Of course along with a bunch of other stuff!!! I could have bought the AIW, if I wouldn't have got sidetracked and bought another case and stuff for one of my other systems.

THAT is the problem. I have wayyyy too many computer to keep up with on my home network!!!

Anyway, all my stuff is on its way. 5 orders from newegg - over $800 on its way!!!
I just couldn't help myself!!! At least that is what I will tell the wife. You can't even walk into my office with all the new crap I have already bought.

I even found the Kingwin 3 window, with Gold accents on the front, which was A CHALLENGE since they have not shipped the gold accented cases for a while since they started shipping the silver ones. The GOLD is awesome if you do it up right. Which my rip was made for it from the 1st place. Except the 1st company had the blk/gold on their site, and shipped the silver. It will cost me more for the RMA and all, but it is WAY worth it!
    Lucky, lucky, lucky...

Had it at 315/610 with only occasionally coming up with artefacts, and the software bundle is massive =D

Hey, that particular card is VERY cheap in Sweden atm. I belive It's the cheapest Ti4200 there is. Anyway, how is the cooling on this card..:?: Good enough for oc in a well cooled Chieftec case?
