    Fantastic work! It's great to see things like that. It's like getting a look at history. Very nice.

    The positive thing to know is that the reason 3dfx broke up was management-related, as far as I know. They just got greedy. The actual technical knowledge was swallowed by other companies, and can be seen in the awesome ATi and NVidea products we see today.

    And now a little something for the HATERS (you know who you are) in this thread:

    Why are you giving this guy a hard time for spending some hours giving us this intresting glimpse into what might have been? History is something to learn from. Do you remember when the first Voodoo card came on the market? It TOTALLY DESTROYED every other video card out there. The WAS NO 3D video cards before the 3Dfx Voodoo. I remember the S3 Virge actually SLOWED DOWN 3d games! Without 3dfx, the 3D card market would be AT LEAST 2 years behind where it is now!
    3dfx is the company that started it all, so SHOW SOME GODDAMN RESPECT!
    You *****y little punks. Don't make me come to your house and fill your texture pipelines with my foot of asskicking. :flames:

    Thanks, I'm done.

    Please post more pics of these cool cards. :cheers:

    no dont think it would as the card is still limited badwidth

    {nothin personal but 1 pci 2 agp converers dont exist or if they do they would only slow things down }

    and 2 the cards badwidth would still be the same so u gain nothing

    i dunno how long, but this card can play all the latest games :) with reasonable frame rate, but im power hungry and need a new card, i would even buy a radeon 9000 128mb agp card if i really need just a tad more power, its probably worth it
