    Massive Multitexturing: 8 textures each with different
    filtering: point, bilinear, trilinear, anisotropic (up to 128-tap).
    Massive Iterators: 8 ARGBSTW iterators: one per texture.
    Texture Recursion (Address ops) : recursion in parallel or series on up to 4 textures
    Any combination of 4 recursions on the 8 available textures Recursion allows one texture to perturb the values of another texture
    Texture Computer (Pixel Shader)

    texture combine unit: (a+b)*c+d feeding...
    ...color combine unit: (A+B)*C+D where each abcd and ABCD can be:
    from any of iterator, texture, previous, registered and constant values.
    manipulated independently with: x, -x, 1-x and x-0.5.

    texture and color: combine unit: (a-b)? c:d and

    Wasnít the T buffering a big performance hit with little gain in AA. Just curious.

    The nVidia FX 5800 / 5900 are the first cards from nVidia designed with the 3Dfx guy's technological knowledge.
    And since the Rampage was the last tech from 3Dfx, it's probably safe to say that the FX 5800 / 5900 have some Rampage tech built in....

    I didnít know if nVidia was going to use any of 3Dfx technology or not. Thought maybe it just got absorbed. Got any links? :D

    Iíll second that. :thumb: Guess I was wrong about the T-buffer. Too bad I donít know any Italian. Not necessary though as a lot of it is in English.

    Today Rampage video card has reached our labs, ready for the tests.

    The Rampage video card with its Dongle Adaptor, a filter that correct some colour errors output due to a bug of some material used to built the card.
