Gainward has 500 Geforce FX 5950 Ultra red PCBs in stock
Nvidia Europe vs. ATI Europe shipping product 1:0

WE'VE JUST HEARD that Gainward have 500 cards in stock already in their Munich office and this is not something that you see every day.
This definitely puts Nvidia in a different light since this is not an ordinary paper launch.

From tomorrow, 500 lucky users or resellers will be able to buy this cards with Gainward internal code 5452 that's the Gainward FX PowerPack! Ultra/1800 XP which is not the Golden Sample and not the CoolFX that we tested. This card will be clocked at 475MHz and presumably 950MHz memory at Nvidia default clock speed.

This is the first time in the last three years that someone has the graphics cards for sale on the same day the product was announced.

Sample cards were being shown at Computex, last month.

Nvidia didn't rush things this time and will be able to ship at the same time as ATI.
