Even though the FX 5200 can support directx9 games......it sucks balls....so whats the piont ?!? It can support newer games but wont it just lag on high detailed games (which a lot of new games are) Should i just get a new graphics card for newer games or will the 5200 be ok?! *HI QUI* :bounce:

I already told you that if you want to play games better, and have more detail, and play newer games, you should get a new card. DOES ANYONE DISGREE THAT THE FX5200 DOESNT SUCK????
i bet you everyone thinks, well knows the fx5200...i would reconmend you to play around with the mhz alittle, but oh wait you only have a heat sink on it.

I have never had a chance to test one. I have tested hundreds of other cards and know how bad some can be. Like all the r7000's and sis cards that everybody gets tricked into buying. Could it really be that bad? Can someone link some reviews showing how bad it is? I could probably think of more popular cards that are worse.

This is what, the 4th thread dealing with basically the same question? I answered this is the gaming thread, others answered it in the WAT Upgrade thread you started...

Yup, another pointless thread: : I have this X it's no good for Y. What do you think?... It reminds me of going to the doctor and saying it hurts my arm when I do this. To which the doctor will reply "Well then don't do that with your arm."

So, the moral is: If you have a vid card that you've decided is no good for gaming, then either A) Don't play games that the card can't handle or B) Get a better card! EOS! :rolleyes2
    :-(
