Hey, what is the 9800np about the same speed as? I've heard its pretty close to the 9700pro or 9600pro. Right now I have a Geforce3 Ti500 and i need to upgrade to a pretty good DX9 card. And right now I can get the 9800 cheaper than 9700pro and just wanted to know if theyre about the same speed. If the 9800 is faster than either the FX5600 or 9600pro please post, Thanks.

The FX5600 is about the same performance as the 9600. (I dunno about speed) The 9800 Leaves both of them in the dust though. :)

The 9800 Pro will get you a better score in 3dmark01 but the card thats getting the highest FPS in todays games is the FX 5900. Which one means more to you?

If you can afford the radeon 9800, why not go for the fx5900 since it gets better fps in games than the 9800? :D I am a fan of both but i can't really afford any of them right now.
